SUNDAY, 16 September: 8am, Holy Communion in English; 10.30am, Morning Worship, bilingual.

Pause for Hope

THE Pause for Hope charity will be bringing their second cross-denominational church service for cancer to Lampeter next month.

It has been almost a year since the first-ever ecumenical church service for cancer was brought to Wales and with such a positive reception and feedback, it is returning again to St Peter’s Church, on Sunday, 21 October, at 2.30pm.

The service, which will be bilingual, aims to provide hope and comfort to those affected in some way by cancer, whether as a patient, carer, support worker, family or friend.

After the service there will be tea, coffee and cake, and the opportunity to talk to representatives from local groups and cancer charities to answer any questions about treatment, fears, support or where to find more information.
