CYNHALIWYD oedfa’r bore gan blant Ysgol Sul Pencae.

Yr oedd yna de parti wedi cael ei baratoi i’r plant am eu gwaith rhagorol.

Yna cafwyd anrhydedd a oedd wedi cael ei gadw’n gyfrinachol. Cyflwynwyd anrheg i ddiolch ei gwaith diflino am 40 mlynedd i Enid Jones sydd wedi bod yn athrawes – yr un modd i Elin Morgan sydd wedi bod yn chwarae yr organ ac yn athrawes yng Nghapel Pencae.

Yn cyflwyno’r anrhegion oedd Isabel Jones.

Gwnaed y diolchiadau gan aelodau’r capel. Diolch o galon am yr athrawon.

The president Isabel introduced the special guest, Raymond Williams who gave a talk on his journey to Burma. He was thanked by Margaret Williams.

The winner of the competition was Denise Lavis (2) and Margaret Vobe.

The monthly letter was dealt with. The raffle was won by Margaret Williams.

In October the special guests were Arwyn and Heledd Williams with their Christmas cards. They were introduced by the president. Arwyn and Heledd print their cards at home in Oakford and what a collection. A vote of thanks was given by Wynne Davies.

Competition winner was Kath Williams, raffle winner was Melda John.

Sympathy was expressed to Beti Jones on the death of her husband.

A day trip was arranged in August by Diane Smith, a lovely tea and a walk around the garden at Cae Hir, Cribyn, to follow by a demonstration and a beautiful supper at Gareth Richards, Lampeter which all members enjoyed, a wonderful day.

New members at the WI, Kath Williams and daughter Trina, were welcomed.
