Village Hall

‘THE answer lies in the soil....or does it?’ is the title of a talk in the village hall on Friday, 22 September, 6.30pm for 7pm.

This promises to be a lively and informative talk by Prof Alex Maltman of Aberystwyth University, who examines the influence of the underlying geology on the distinctive flavours of wine, beer and whisky.

Tickets include a complimentary glass of wine and a platter of cheese.

THERE will be a talk on ‘Collecting Welsh Place Names’ on Thursday, 21 September by Dr James January McCann, 7.30pm in the Girls’ Parlour, village hall.

Tickets on the door include light refreshments.
