A SUCCESSFUL weekend was held at the centre for the Triaqua.

Thanks were given to all who supported the event, which was enjoyed by all.

ANOTHER meeting was held at the Porth on Thursday.

The next meeting will be on Thursday, 18 October when they will meet the Welsh learners at 7.30pm, upstairs at the library.

Sandie’s choir

EVERY Monday, Sandie is having a sing-song at the church hall at 7pm, which is open to anyone wishing to sing and enjoy.

Diolchwyd i Emyr ac Eleri am drefnu’r hwyaid ac i Ken ac Eileen am ofalu am y bingo.

Enillwyr yr hwyaid oedd: Dylan Monks, Saron; Megan Jones, Penpistyll; Darren Taylor, Rhydaman; Wyn Williams, Rhydfoyr a Novello Jones, Penboyr.

THE president Rhian Thomas, welcomed everyone, including guest Anita and members of Pentrecwrt WI to the September meeting.

With business matters over, various items were highlighted; tip it will be held at the Porth Hotel on 18 October.

The guest speaker was Diane Dunbar who had spent many years teaching ballet, modern, tap, ballroom and salsa in the area.

She demonstrated each step before playing the music and encouraging everyone to join in.

A fun evening was had by all.

The vote of thanks was given by Melinda.

Tregroes: 2pm, Harvest Thanksgiving.

Llangeler: 3.30pm, Harvest Thanksgiving and 160th celebration in the company of Canon Stuart Bell.
