Winter Fayre

ORGANISERS of this year’s Winter Fayre on 16 December at the Heritage Buildings at the Urdd Centre have issued an invitation to locals.

The idea for the formation of a market committee and hence a regular local market in Llangrannog, came from active members of the local community, Annabel Selby and Louise Burgess.

Together with interested locals they set up a committee in 2013 and applied for funding to purchase marquees. The first market was held in May 2014.

The committee want to get more societies, groups and clubs in Llangrannog involved.

The Winter Fayre will include entertainment and music from the Llangrannog Community Choir and local jazz trio with stalls run by the Llangrannog Welfare Committee, the Llangrannog Producers Market Committee, the Llangrannog Surf Life Saving Club and the Pontgarreg Field Committee. The event is between 4pm and 9pm.
