THE AGM took place on 7 November.

After the president welcomed the members, there were many apologies for absence before the minutes and newsletter were read and discussed.

A change of day for the meetings and an afternoon time was proposed, with everyone in agreement.

It will be decided in the next meeting for the changes in the new year.

The date for the Christmas dinner at the Hungry Trout was also changed to Monday, 4 December, at 1.30pm.

Lyn Lloyd was invited as advisor on the election of officers, but there was no voting as it was passed that all the officers were re-elected.

She gave an interesting talk and gave a short lesson on flower arranging using winter foliage from gardens.

The competition for best photograph was won by Elizabeth Potts, with Devina Evans taking second place.
