WI Christmas dinner
The WI Christmas dinner was held at the Hungry Trout on Monday, 4 December.
About 21 attended including a few friends.
The president, Delyth Jenkins, welcomed everyone and Sally Rees gave grace.
The meal was excellent and enjoyed by everyone.
The news letter was then read and discussed.
The competition was the best wrapped Christmas present.
First prize went to Maureen Witts, second to Maureen Howells and third to Delyth Jones.
Also the prize of a silver salver was awarded to Maureen Howells for having the most points in the competitions for the year.
Delyth Jones was second and Elizabeth Potts third.
The president then discussed the new day and time for the meetings next year so it was decided that Monday was a good day and they would start at 1.30pm.
The first meeting would be on 8 January and after that on the first Monday of every month. New members would be welcomed.
