Mach Maethlon

ON Thursday, 28 June, during one of Mach Maethlon’s free workshops, Tom Baker from Rye and Roses bakery demonstrated the art of fresh pasta making.

Tom showed how sumptuous treats could be created from the humblest of ingredients such as flour and eggs.

With and without a pasta machine, Tom and his keen students created some simple ribbon pasta, tagliatelle and pappardelle, as well as filled pasta – mezzalune and tortellini, and paired them with a couple of classic Italian sauces.

Have you ever been to an Edible Mach cooking workshop? What do you enjoy about them? How can they be improved? What dish would you particularly like to cook together?
