Old Shop

POWYS County Council has appointed SWG to undertake the renovation of the Old Shop on the Bryn-y-Gôg housing estate, thereby creating a community hub.

Powys County Council housing officers will make use of the building as an office on a regular basis and, in addition to the Housing Service using this facility, it will also be made available to other community-based organisations and local groups. The good news is that it will be free.

The Housing Service is going along with the theme Love Where You Live and have chosen Valentine’s Day for the opening date.

Cllr Michael Williams will do the honours and cut the ribbon at 4pm.

An invitation is extended to all to join the celebrations from 3.45pm.
