Tickets are £10 (£8).

Celebrate avoiding waste

A PRACTICAL event for all that celebrates avoiding waste and building community will be held on Sunday, 17 November.

The Repair Café is at its heart, where volunteers will try to mend household items, small electrical equipment, toys, jewellery, fabrics and stringed instruments, amongst other things.

There is also computer advice and troubleshooting, bike repair, tool sharpening, ‘surplus’ food and much more.

It’s in the community hall at Y Plas and is free to all.

All welcome, from experienced gardeners to complete newbies. Children too, if accompanied by an adult.
