Ladies Club

THE first meeting after the summer break was on Thursday, 28 September, 7.45pm for 8pm at the Nanhoron Hotel.

The subscription remains at £10.

New members are very welcome.

The following day the club held a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Tegfan, Rhodfa’r Garn, Nefyn from 10.30am until noon.

Members who had promised to give cakes were asked to bring them to the meeting the evening before.

Drop-in Flu Clinic

A FLU clinic for the patients registered at the Nefyn practice or Meddygfa Aelhaearn, Llanaelhaearn, was held at Ty Doctor on 29 September between 9am and 3pm.

If you are over 65 years old, or under 65 but suffer from a chronic illness, pregnant, or if you are a main carer, you are entitled to a free flu vaccination.

No appointment is required.

Llyn Maritime Museum

DURING September and October they are holding an exhibition telling the story of the training ship ‘Cleo’.

They are now open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10.30am to 4pm.

Free entry. Shop and café open.
