Camera Club

Following a very successful annual exhibition, with increased footfall and many encouraging comments from visitors, members were able to enjoy a delightful evening on Thursday when some 30 of them descended on the town, for the annual Luck Six Pack event, arranged by very talented member Gareth Parry.

Members were given six subjects to interpret and capture, in one hour before returning to the Memorial Hall, with one image of each. The images were then projected by Gareth for a light hearted, open critique.

The next meeting, on 21 June at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall will be a very welcome return visit, by the popular guest speaker, Harry Gardiner AWPF, entitled ‘Art and Photography, how they influence each other’ and showing some of his many artistic images.

Oedfaon

Cafwyd wythnos lwyddiannus o ddathlu yn ardal Aberaeron yn ystod Cyfarfodydd Blynyddol Undeb yr Annibynwyr Cymraeg a Dathliadau Glaniad y Cenhadon o Neuadd -lwyd ym Madagascar. Diolchwyd i bawb fu’n cynorthwyo ac yn cymryd rhan.

Enillodd Marged Ioan o Nanternis a Lowri Jones o Ysgol Sul Pencae glod a thlws Cyfundeb Lerpwl yn eu gwahanol adrannau yn y gystadleuaeth siarad cyhoeddus.

Hefyd enillodd Ysgol Sul Pencae y gystadleuaeth i greu llyfr ar hanes Cymru a Madagascar gan sicrhau bod y cwpan yn dod yn ôl i Bencae am yr ail waith.
