THURSDAY’S meeting in the memorial hall was an in-house Print and Dpi competition on an ‘open’ theme. Thirty-two entries in each category were judged and critiqued by guest judge, Dr Dyfed James of the Cardigan Photo Club. Member Colin Price who will be judging the ‘street’ competition in April emerged the worthy winner in both categories. At the request of members there will be an extra meeting on Thursday, 14 February, when Mike Jones will demonstrate the post processing software, Affinity. The next scheduled meeting on Thursday, 21 February, in the memorial hall, is entitled ‘Ron Ffotograffwr, The Long Fortnight’ when guest speakers, Philip and Lindsey Davies, will talk about the life of Ron Davies MBE, Philip’s father.
