THURSDAY evening’s meeting was Gareth Parry’s very popular ‘Lucky Six Pack’ evening when members descended into the town, to shoot one each of Gareth’s six preordained themes in one hour.
On their return to the memorial hall, the three best images from each of the participants were projected and critiqued by all as to whether they successfully fulfilled the criteria.
The next meeting is on 20 June at 7.30pm, in the memorial hall.
It will be an ‘Affinity’ masterclass, by Mike Jones.
Please bring along laptops and images.

Heritage centre
NEW Quay Heritage Centre and Museum (under the harbourmaster’s office) is now open at weekends.
Volunteers take turns to sit in.
Museum is open Saturday and Sunday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm and contains a wealth of local exhibits and historical information.
It would be good to extend the hours of opening, this is not possible with the current number of volunteers so if you would like to help and learn more about New Quay’s past please contact Jennifer Davies 01545 560 037.
