Clonc

PICTURED are members of the New Quay Clonc group at one of their summer social gatherings.

The Clonc is an informal free gathering of Welsh learners who wish to improve their speaking and vocabulary skills.

They are assisted by a number of volunteer native Welsh speakers with the emphasis on learning over coffee and biscuits in a very informal and fun manner.

Clonc meets every Wednesday morning in term-time between 10.30am and noon in one of the meeting rooms in the Memorial Hall (entry via the rear entrance).

Snooker Club

THE AGM of New Quay Snooker Club will be held on Thursday, 15 September, 7pm at the Memorial Hall.

SERVICES for Sunday, 18 September: 9.30am, Cross Inn - Harvest Thanksgiving; 11am, New Quay - Harvest Thanksgiving; 2.30pm, Llanina - Holy Communion.

Also Côr Cei New Quay Community Choir welcomes new members for its Christmas repertoire; 7.30pm on Mondays at the Church Hall.
