MEMBERS met at Cawdor Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 16 April, for their monthly meeting.

The chairman, Kenneth Jones, gave a short report on the meeting of Wales chairmen.

The 75th anniversary of the D Day landings in 1944 takes place on 6 June . The annual Legion Plant Stall in aid of the Newcastle Emlyn branch fund will be outside the police ctation in as usual on the morning of Saturday, 25 May.

The branch annual dinner will be held at the rugby club on Friday, 24 January 2020 at 7pm for 7.30pm.

The branch welcomes new members including ladies and gentlemen and serving and retired armed forces personnel. To join, call Kenneth Jones on 01559 370035.

There is a choir practice in the church at 3.30pm on Wednesday, 8 May.

There will be a coffee morning in the hall on Saturday, 4 May, from 10.30amuntil noon, hosted by Cenarth Church.
