Tudors at Strata Florida

MEET the Tudors at Strata Florida Abbey on Saturday, 6 and Sunday, 7 July.

They love singing and dancing with guests, and telling them about the turbulent times.

The Tudor couple will be there between 11am and 4.30pm on both days.

Normal admission to the abbey applies.

Church concert

ON Friday, 5 July, there will be a concert with Côr Clychau’r Fedwen ladies’ choir, conducted by Rev Canon Aled Williams.

The president for the evening will be Cllr Ifan Davies.

Tickets may be purchased before hand or at the door on the evening, £5 including light refreshments.

The proceeds will go towards St Mary’s Church.

Coed y Bont

AT Pantyfedwen Hall, on Monday, 15 July, from 7.30pm until 9pm there will be a talk by Becky Hulme, the Mid-Wales Red squirrel Officer for the Wildlife Trust of South Wales and West Wales on ‘Red Squirrels in the Tywi Forest’.

The evening will be chaired by Chris Harries. Small donations will be welcome, and welcome to all.
