TO celebrate Welsh Music Day with old Welsh songs, on Thursday, 6 February at 6pm, there will be bilingual fun sessions for beginners of all ages with ukuleles, in partnership with Cered and Steffan Rees at Y Beudy, Strata Florida.

Cheese and wine evening
ON Saturday, 8 February, a cheese and wine evening will be held at Pantyfedwen Hall at 7.30pm.
Charles Arch, who has commissioned an unique painting of Strata Florida by the renowned artist Aneurin Meirion Jones, will be in charge of the evening, and NFU Wales have sponsored the painting.
The original painting will be sold at auction by Andrew Morgan of Morgan and Davies during the evening.
One print of the painting will be won by one lucky winner on the raffle, and there will be other prizes.
Also, there will be a special print, depicting different areas in Ceredigion on sale at the Auction, by the artist Rhiannon Roberts, a descendant of the local Roberts family, Troedrhiw.
There will be entertainment by the local band from Llanddewi Brefi, Bois y Rhedyn, and there will be a bar.
Entry fee will be £5 (including a glass of wine and cheese) and the proceeds will go towards the Ceredigion National Eisteddfod 2020.
