Photography class
CIL de Gwynedd’s Creative Photography class, held an exhibition last week in the Library at the Canolfan Glaslyn Leisure Centre, Porthmadog to raise money to buy equipment for the class.
Cil (Centre for Independent Living) is based on the Penamser Industrial Estate.
It is a charity that helps people with disabilities to live more independently.
Various classes such as a Computer Workshop, Arts and Crafts and Creative Photography take place within the centre and are open to both disabled and able bodied people.
The Creative Photography class has undertaken a number of projects this year, including splash, bokeh and frozen photography, 3D artwork, light painting and digital manipulation.
The aim of the class is to make photography affordable, accessible and fun for everyone.
It takes place every Wednesday during term time from 11am to 3pm, new members are always welcome.
