AT the October meeting president Margaret welcomed everyone.

Vice-president Angela Swann read the prayer and gave the international toast to the Venice club, Italy.

Various business matters, including the district meeting at Wrexham on 10 November, memorial service on 11 November and the tombola evening at the Ganolfan on Friday, 16 November, were discussed.

The guest speaker, Emma Quaeck, handed out notes on DementiaGo.

This worthwhile project brings people together to do various things like exercise, dancing, singing, outings etc. which are friendly, enjoyable and helpful to those who live with dementia and their families.

HARVEST Thanksgiving service in English is on Sunday, 21 October, at 10.30am.

Donations to the Dwyfor Foodbank are welcome and can be delivered to Glaneifion, Seaview, Borth-y-Gest.
