PRESIDENT Margaret Harrison welcomed everyone to the April meeting at the golf club. The prayer was read by Jane Johnson and the overseas toast to Cairns, Australia, given by Barbara Heys.

The president gave a report on the conference at Nottingham which she and four members had attended the previous week.

Plans and details were well in hand for the unveiling of the Margarette Golding Plaque on 12 May at Blaenau Ffestiniog, the street stall on 1 June in Porthmadog and the 75th celebration at Portmeirion. Then member Michal gave a very interesting talk about willow craft.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

THE church welcomes all to join them at their Penamser estate chapel, opposite the Travelodge, next Sunday when members will be holding their annual branch conference.

At this meeting, leaders of the Church in North Wales will address the group, and the local leadership will be either changed or confirmed in office, as well as a bilingual communion.

This will be followed by Sunday School for all ages and then by sectional meetings for men, women, youth and children. Croeso cynnes i bawb.
