Welfare committee

THE recent charity night at the Emlyn Café raised £2,700 for the Tanygroes Welfare Committee’s funds.

The main recipients for this year are the Alzheimer’s Society, Wales Air Ambulance and the British Heart Foundation.

The committee wishes to thank all thos who contributed prizes or helped on the event.

The night was a great success and followed the earlier tractor run which raised £500 for the RNLI at New Quay.

The next fundraising event is the whist drive on Tuesday, 16 October, at the café, starting at 7.30pm.
