Clwb Cinio Cylch Tregaron Lunch Club

THIRTY members attended our lunch on Wednesday 17th July in Y Talbot. We had a pleasant meal and the entertainment was provided by Parchedig Robin Morris, who gave a very amusing and interesting talk.

It is the Strawberry Tea in Y Talbot on Tuesday, August 13th.

Please bring things for the Cake Stall and the Lucky Dip. Please remember to sell your Raffle tickets and return the stubs with the money to Delyth as soon as possible.

Cymorth Cristnogol

CASGLWYD £1,090 eleni tuag at Cymorth Cristnogol gan aelodau Gofalaeth Caron, Ysgoldy Llanio, Eglwys Sant Caron a ffrindiau.

Clwb Cerdded

THE next walk, scheduled for 10 August, has been organised by Ian Tillotson (01974 298329) and Catrin Hopkins.

It is entitled ‘Discover Water – A Circuit of Caban Coch Reservoir’.

From the Elan Valley Visitor Centre, they will head for the Caban Coch Reservoir and follow its eastern shore, passing the ‘Dambuster’ dam. An ascent takes them to T?’n y Pant and to fine views of the lake.

Descending into woodland, they will follow the track past Llanerch Cawr, to the Dol y Mynach dam. Another woodland trail will guide us to the Garreg Ddu dam, pat the Caban Quarry, and return to the visitor centre.

A visit to the interior of the Pen y Garreg dam may be possible.

The walk is to last approximately four hours and is graded easy, with a distance of 7 miles, and an ascent of 520ft/160m.

Meet outside Y Talbot, Tregaron at 9.30am.
