In support of Dai Thomas’ letter (25 February), yes, yes, yes. Of course Bodlondeb could be used as a convalescent home.

We have suffered for years from the lack of convalescent homes, which used to be commonplace throughout Britain.

And if we close the leisure centre we could end up needing more hospital places.
