The railway line between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llandudno Junction remains closed today.

A bus replacement service is in operation for this section of the Conwy Line which closed last Tuesday (19 January) following flood damage during Storm Christoph.

A spokesperson for Transport for Wales said: “The line remains closed today (27 January) but is due to reopen tomorrow (28 January).”

Normal service has resumed on the Cambrian Line, which was also affected by the storm.

A landslip on the line between Barmouth and Harlech, and flooding between Machynlleth and Pwllheli, closed that line for six days.

It reopened yesterday (Tuesday).
