Professional cookery students from Coleg Ceredigion’s Aberystwyth campus flexed their culinary skills for a special reception at the town’s rugby club.
The event was an annual reunion dinner for former players of the club, with guest of honour Phil Davies, the former Welsh rugby international and the current head coach of the Namibian national side.
The young chefs prepared a high-quality three-course meal for the full capacity venue and ensured courses were served professionally and promptly.
Jo Pearce, curriculum manager for Catering, said: “This event certainly provided our students with a great experience of working in a busy kitchen and for a prestigious event.
“Our students performed outstandingly as a team and demonstrated that they could work under pressure to a professional standard.
“I’m very proud of them.”
