MACHYNLLETH Town Council is facing a “significant” bill to remove graffiti from the Plas, councillors have heard. The Plas has been targeted twice by graffiti artists in recent weeks, with both cases reported to the police.
Town council clerk Rab Jones said: “There is going to be a cost. I don’t think it’s going to wash off so it’ll have to be painted and it will be a significant cost.”
Cllr Rhydian Mason said he was disappointed at the vandalism and said he hoped the police would track down the guilty party.
