A soldier from Llanybydder has appeared in court accused of attempting to murder a taxi driver, and faces a trial later this year.
Steffan Rhys Wilson, 25, has been charged with the attempted murder of taxi driver Noby James in Yorkshire on 1 December.
He also faces two charges of assaulting two police officers.
He was been remanded in custody and a trial date was provisionally set for May.
Wilson appeared before Leeds Crown Court by videolink on Thursday, 2 January, but did not enter pleas to the charges.
A provisional case management hearing was scheduled for 3 February, and a provisional trial date was set for 18 May.
