A Bwlchygroes man will stand trial later this year after pleading not guilty to a drug driving charge.

Bryan Eccleston, of Awel Deg, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 21 October.

The 45-year-old pleaded not guilty to driving with benzoylecgonine – the major metabolite of cocaine – in his system on the A486 at Pentrecwrt on 26 April this year.

Eccleston is due to stand trial on the charge at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 10 December.

He was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
