A Capel Dewi man will be sentenced at Crown Court after appearing in court to plead guilty to distributing indecent videos of children.

Michael Fox, of Chestnut Mill and formerly of Alltyblaca, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 12 August.

The 55-year-old pleaded guilty at the hearing to two counts of distributing indecent moving images of a child in Ceredigion on 28 July this year.

The court heard that of the total of four videos, three were of the most serious category A, with the other of category B.

Fox is due to be sentenced for the offences at Swansea Crown Court on 2 September.

He was remanded on unconditional bail by magistrates until that date.
