A CLARACH woman has been fined and handed six penalty points after driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle without insurance.

Janice Holloway, of Ty Capel, was stopped while driving a Gowring S Mob mobility vehicle on Penglais Hill in Aberystwyth on 6 July, Llanelli magistrates heard on 16 January.

The 70-year-old was fined £660 and had her driving record endorsed with six points.

She must also pay £90 costs and a £26 surcharge.
