A NEW QUAY man has been banned from the road for three years after admitting drug driving.
Simon Tinney, of 16 Bro Gido, Gilfachreda, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 5 April.
The court heard that the 37-year-old was stopped by police on Heol Tynyfron in Penparcau on 22 January.
Tests showed he had cannabis in his blood exceeding the specified limit.
Magistrates disqualified Tinney from driving for 36 months and fined him £120.
He must also pay £85 costs and a £48 surcharge.
