Two men from north Ceredigion, both currently in prison, have appeared in court via videolink charged with a house burglary in Trefenter near Aberystwyth nearly two years ago.
Daniel Bloomer, of Devil’s Bridge, and Paul Richards-Keegan from Aberystwyth, both appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court via video-link from HMP Parc in Bridgend on 7 October.
Bloomer, 23, entered no plea and 25-year-old Richards-Keegan pleaded not guilty to stealing property of an unknown value from a home in Trefenter on 18 December 2019.
At the hearing Richards-Keegan also pleaded guilty to carrying out two other burglaries - one in Dolruddyn between 21 and 23 December 2019 where items of an unknown value were taken, and another in White Cross on 8 December 2019 where he stole items to the value of £544.15.
Bloomer and Richards-Keegan are next due to appear at Swansea Crown Court on Thursday, 4 November for the first hearing on the Trefenter burglary charges.
Richards-Keegan is also due to be sentenced at the hearing at crown court for the other two burglaries.
