A Llanrhystud man has appeared in court charged with stealing a dog.

Damian Vickery, of 13 Pentre Isaf, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 26 August.

The 44-year-old is charged with stealing a dog from a property in Ffair Rhos on 15 November last year.

Vickery is also charged with damaging a door at the Ffair Rhos property on the same day.

Vickery is next due to appear before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 13 October.

He was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
