A MAN accused of breaking a police officer’s leg has appeared before a court.
Jordan Victor Moran, once of Fairbourne but now of no fixed abode, is alleged to have assaulted PC Daniel Owen during an incident at Yr Eifl flats, Pwllheli, on Saturday, 19 December.
On Monday, the 26-year-old appeared before Caernarfon Crown Court via video-link from Altcourse prison in Liverpool where he is on remand.
He is charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent to resist arrest.
Defence barrister Dafydd Roberts told the court that Moran intended to plead not guilty.
His Honour judge Geraint Walters set a provisional trial date of Thursday, 31 March but Moran will next appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on Monday, 15 February where he will formally enter a plea.
Moran was remanded in custody until his next court date.
