A MAN has admitted robbery of an Aberystwyth shop on Easter Sunday, but denied that he was armed with a knife.
Lee Michael Southan, 30, was charged with robbery of the Premier Store in Northgate Street on 27 March, a charge which he pleaded guilty to at Swansea Crown Court.
However, Southan, of 1 Epworth Terrace, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife, during the incident.
He was remanded in custody until a trial which will be held on Wednesday, 24 August.
