A MAN has been charged in connection with the robbery of an Aberystwyth store on Easter Sunday in which a 19-year-old girl was allegedly held at knife-point.
Lee Michael Southan, 30, from Aberystwyth, has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place following the robbery at the Premier Store, North Parade, in which £1,675 of cash was allegedly stolen.
A police spokesperson said: “Following a robbery at the Premier Store, North Parade, Aberystwyth, on Easter Sunday, 27 March, 2016, a 30-year-old man from Aberystwyth has been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.”
Southan is due to appear before Aberystwyth Magistrates this morning (Wednesday, 30 March).
