A MACHYNLLETH man has appeared in court charged with wounding, assault, possession of a firearm, criminal damage and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
David Keith Cornell, 27, of 2 Pentrerhedyn, was arrested following an incident in which three people were injured when they were allegedly shot with an air rifle in Machynlleth on New Year’s Eve.
Cornell appeared at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday) and spoke only to confirm his name and address.
He will next appear before a judge at Mold Crown Court on 1 April, and was released on police bail.
