A New Quay man who denied a charged of failing to comply with a community protection notice has been found not guilty following a court hearing.
David Scott Holeyman, of Bamenda, Hill Street, appeared for trial before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 30 July.
The 67-year-old pleaded not guilty at a hearing on 18 June to a charge of failing to comply with a community protection notice issued by police by “behaving in and acting in an anti-social manner which included behaviour to cause or likely cause harassment, alarm or distress to a member of the public” at his home address on 12 December last year.
The prosecution offered no evidence at the hearing, Holeyman was found not guilty and the case was dismissed.
