An incident in which a car was driven toward pedestrians on Aberystwyth’s promenade is still being investigated, Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed.
Mobile phone footage of the incident last October had left people shocked when it showed a car being driven “erratically and dangerously” according to police.
Following the incident, three men were arrested and released under investigation, but there has been no official statement since and no charges have been laid.
A police spokesperson said that an “investigation is ongoing”.
Speaking shortly after the incident, local county councillor Ceredig Davies said it was lucky that nobody was killed.
