A FFOSTRASOL pub landlord will appear in court accused of serving children as young as 14.
William Arthur Davies, of the Ffostrasol Arms, is facing 26 charges of breaching licensing regulations, including seven charges of allowing youngsters aged 14 and 15 to be served alcohol on New Year’s Eve.
Davies, 72, is also charged with a string of other licensing breaches.
He is due to appear before Aberystwyth magistrates on Wednesday, 13 June, to answer the charges after a hearing on Wednesday, 23 May, was adjourned.
Seven of the charges relate to serving alcohol to children, six of whom were 15, as well as a 14-year-old.
There are a further seven charges of knowingly allowing children into the pub.
There are four charges of allowing an unauthorised licensable activity by not controlling and dispersing customers, plus another five charges of allowing an unauthorised licensable activity by not providing notices asking customers to leave quietly, not producing public liability insurance and failing to produce a fire code warning and weekly fire safety checks.
Davies is also facing two charges of failing to display a licence or licence summary, and of failing to notify the licensing authority of a change of address.
