A Cardigan pub landlord was caught on CCTV assaulting his wife and another woman.
Nigellus Vaz, 42, pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife Shikha Vaz and Tanya Webb at the Black Lion in Cardigan in the early hours of 20 September last year.
Rhian Jones, prosecuting, said the pub’s CCTV footage showed Vaz involved in a heated discussion with his wife and Ms Webb shortly before 3am.
He was seen to throw a glass toward his wife, which missed her, but then swiped his arm across the bar knocking liquid from a glass onto Mrs Vaz.
The couple were then seen arguing in a doorway before Vaz pushed his wife, causing her to stumble into a piano in the restaurant area.
Vaz pushed Mrs Vaz again before he went behind the bar and started pointing and arguing with Ms Webb. When he was approached by Mrs Vaz, he pushed her again before getting involved in an altercation with Ms Webb which led to him pushing her to the floor and dragging her out of the pub by her clothing.
Ms Jones said the footage then showed Vaz getting his wife in a headlock before pushing her up against the bar.
The couple has since returned to the London area.
