A Trawsgoed woman who failed to co-operate with a roadside breath test has been fined by magistrates.

Sarah Hayley Martin, of The Old Dairy, Trawsgoed Mansion, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 6 August.

The 49-year-old had initially pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to a charge of failing to co-operate with a preliminary breath test on the A485 at Bronant on 3 April this year.

She changed her plea to guilty ahead of the hearing.

Two separate charges were dismissed at the hearing.

Magistrates handed Martin a fine of £414 and endorsed her driving record with four penalty points.

She must also pay prosecution costs of £200 as well as a £116 surcharge to fund victim services.
