The Welsh Triple Harp Society will perform in Devil’s Bridge next month alongside folk singers Parti Camddwr.

On Saturday, 3 October at Canolfan Mynach, the two mighty forces of Welsh song and string will come together.

The local men of Parti Camddwr and members of The Welsh Triple Harp Society will combine their talents to present a dynamic programme of traditional Welsh music in its purest Welsh form.

Parti Camddwr is a folk singing group with deep roots in the Lledrod and Bronant area.

They began meeting in the spring of 2011 in response to local interest, and since then, have been extremely busy entertaining local societies, supporting events both local and further afield, and competing in various local eisteddfodau.

They competed at the National Eisteddfod for the first time in Tregaron in 2022.

Based in Bronant under the directorship of Efan Williams, Parti Camddwr draws its enthusiastic members from a wide area of northern Ceredigion, to sing, and to socialise!

Cymdeithas y Delyn Deires (The Welsh Triple Harp Society) was founded at the Llanrwst National Eisteddfod in 2019, with the aim of raising awareness of the Triple Harp (our true unique national harp) and its rich traditions. The society has been going from strength to strength with harpists and friends all over Wales and beyond supporting this work.

They have performed both on national and local stages, and some Ceredigion residents might remember the society’s thrilling performance at Capel Bwlch Gwynt during the Tregaron National Eisteddfod in 2022.
