Plans have been submitted to license the former Cribyn School as a community venue hosting alcohol sales, films, music, plays and dance performances.

Cribyn School Ltd Community Benefit Society has applied to Ceredigion County Council for a premises licence for Cribyn School Centre, at Cribyn, near Lampeter.

The application seeks permission for plays, live and recorded music, and dance performances from 9am until midnight, seven days a week.

Film screenings would be permitted from noon until 11pm from Monday to Friday and until 11.30pm at weekends. Late-night refreshments would be available between 11pm and midnight every day.

The proposed alcohol hours are 1pm to midnight from Monday to Friday and 11am to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.
