A Llwngwril woman is hoping to raise lots of money by selling a calendar full of local photographs.
Debbie Ashton organised a competition for people to send in their eye-catching images of the area for the calendar, which will raise money for the RNLI, the Wales Air Ambulance, Aberdyfi Search and Rescue, Welsh Hearts and First Responders.
Speaking about the organisations Debbie has chosen to raise money for, she said: “They are all voluntary, which people don’t always realise, so they rely on donations and fundraising to keep going and keep saving lives.
“We are rather proud of our calendar for 2020. We really hope that everyone can recognise that the whole purpose of the calendar is to raise as much funds as we possibly can.
“Please support the project and encourage family and friends to have one, to support these essential services, which are provided by volunteers.
“This is all about raising funds for charity, so please get behind this.”
The photographs in the 2020 calendar were chosen by Debbie and well-known photographer, Jean Napier.
