Madam,

As residents of Penparcau, we wish to express our disappointment of Plaid Cymru’s de-selection of our loyal councillor Lorrae Jones-Southgate.

We have no hesitation at all in saying how hard-working she has been in our ward over many years and, despite her health set-backs in recent months following a spinal operation, she has continued to work conscientiously for the benefits of us all with incredible loyalty.

We shall without doubt continue to support her as an independent councillor knowing that she will always put her residents’ concerns first and foremost.
