Madam,

I would like to say that I agree wholeheartedly with a letter you published from Susan Pierce (C13 July,’Saga of decisions made with little understanding of local needs’).

All common sense has been taken away in the present closure of St Winifrede’s church, in Aberystwyth. As far as the bishop is concerned the case is closed, but I urge all the good people who did attend the church and also the wider community to not give up on this matter.

The church is a beautiful building and a credit to Aberystwyth. May it be re-opened in the near future.
