STUDENTS from the Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor campus in Dolgellau have performed in a Christmas extravaganza for their friends and family.

Scores of young adults visited Glan Wnion Leisure Centre last week for a christmas party and concert for the college’s foundation students.

Welcoming fellow foundation students from Glynllifon and Denbigh campuses, as well as pupils from Ty Meirion and many family and friends, the 150 or so participants had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

The students performed an excellent show, which was followed by a disco with Dylan Ellis from the Urdd, as well as a certificate presentation ceremony.

Mark Jones performed a stunning version of Anfonaf Angel in honour of his mother who was in the audience and Rachel Pote captivated the crowd with a wonderful performance (pictured).
