A Tywyn photographer has received two awards from the Guild of Professional Photographers.

Tim Wilde of Wilde Photography has won the Photographers Bar Award for demonstrating an exceptional level of skill and consistency over the competition year, and an award for placing ninth in the Photographer of the Year competition for his images of the local landscape in Tywyn.

Tim’s awards were presented at the Guild’s awards night at Crewe Hall in Cheshire, on Saturday, 1 February.

Tim said: “We didn’t actually get to attend the amazing awards ceremony as we were away in Tenerife on holiday, but we followed the live Facebook updates.

“I feel very proud indeed to have received both my awards and I really enjoy entering the Guild’s competition each month. I am now eagerly awaiting the 2020 competition year.”
